Repent and Move Toward the New Year
Isaiah 55:6~9
Introduction: It is a normal thing for people to clean the house and get rid of overstock before greeting the New Year. Sometimes we sell the products for their scrap value and donate old clothes or shoes to a philanthropic organization. It is similar for human beings. We should not greet the New Year with our sinful lives as they are. We must ask God to cleanse our souls from sin as we move toward the New Year, like physical cleansing when we have a bath.
1. Let?셲 repent of not loving others.
혻혻 1) We are all debtors of God?셲 love.
혻혻혻혻혻 (1) We were children of hell and that?셲 true reality.
혻혻혻혻혻 (2) Jesus gave His life to save us.
혻혻 2) Do we really love Jesus?

2. Let?셲 repent of blaming our neighbor
??1) Strip the neighbors and don?셳 clothe them.
혻혻혻혻혻 (1) The devil stripped Adam.
혻혻혻혻혻 (2) God made garments of skin and clothed them.
혻혻혻 - Jesus was totally naked and died on the Cross to prepare clothes for us.
혻혻 2) Hurt neighbors and don?셳 treat their injury.
혻혻혻혻혻 (1) A person who went down to Jericho from Jerusalem.
혻혻혻혻혻혻혻혻혻 - A robber hit him and took what he had. He was half dead.
혻혻혻혻혻 (2) A Samaritan gave treatment.
혻혻혻혻혻혻혻혻혻 - Poured oil and wine and applied a bandage.
혻혻 3) Accused his neighbors and did not pray for them.
혻혻혻혻혻 (1) Job?셲 neighbors accused Job.
혻혻혻혻혻 (2) God was angry about Job?셲 friends.
혻혻 4) Tried to kill neighbors when they fell.
혻혻혻혻혻 (1) The example of the woman caught in adultery.
혻혻혻혻혻 (2) Jesus did not accuse her but helped her.
3. Let?셲 repent of idolatry
??1) If you love anything more than the Lord, it becomes an idol.

??(2) Love children ??Love of children in the Lord.

??(5) Personal material ??We must crucify ourselves and follow the Lord.

Conclusion: Let?셲 get rid of these three sins that are most prominent in our lives, and move toward the New Year by taking the hand of the Lord
