Our Father in Heaven

Matthew 6:9 (NIV)

9This, then, is how you should pray: ?쏰ur Father in heaven, hallowed be your name.??

Introduction: We should pray with great zeal based on a firm foundation of correct understanding regarding our relationship with God. Prayer without faith is a vulnerable target of attack by Satan.

?€?€?? We will live in heaven with Jesus forever.
?€?€?? Jesus is the only way.
3) Our Father.
?€?€?? Relationship with God of Old Testament days, and with God of New Testament days. ??Yahweh God revealed himself to Moses - The Lord Almighty (Creator, Ruler, and Judge) (Ex 3:14).
?€?€??God of New Testament days. We become one with Jesus, God becomes the seed of life, and we become children of God (Jn 20:17).

2. The hallowed name of God.

1) God?셲 nature is holy; worldly things dare not approach (Lev 11:45).
2) The place where God is standing is holy ground.
?? Mount Horeb - the burning bush (Ex 3:5).
?€?€??At Jordan (Jos 5:15).
?€?€?? The temple of God (2Ch 7:16).

3. Hallowed be your name.

1) God can?셳 be more holy than He already is, because He is the most holy혻(Isa 5:16).혻혻
2) Throughout our life, we should reveal the holy God (1Pe 1:15??6).
?€?€3) A life that makes His name hallowed.
?€?€ ??A life that becomes the temple of God (1Co 6:19??0; 1Th 4:3).
?€?€ ?? By the Word of God and prayer (1Ti 4:4??).
?€?€ ?? God is enthroned in our praise and worship (Mt 18:20; Ps 22:3).
?? Live by the Holy Spirit, fight against the world. Be righteous, honest, holy, and faithful, and empty evil desires (Gal 5:16; Eph 4:22??3).

Conclusion: Our life and relationship with God our Father should be firmly established on a holy foundation. Then we can have a true understanding of how to worship Him and pray with faith.
