The Principle That Controls My Life

Romans 4:17 (NIV)
As it is written: "I have made you a father of many nations."
He is our father in the sight of God, in whom he believed?the God who gives life to the dead
and calls things that are not as though they were.

Introduction: A person who rides on a horse should firmly hold the reins to control the horse. Also, a person who drives a car should firmly grasp the steering wheel to control the car. Likewise, we should not let go of our lives and let them flow in any direction. We must control our lives. God told Adam to subdue and rule over the earth.

1. The one who controls life poorly.
Life consists of more than what is visible. Circumstances that are seen are caused by what is unseen.
Not all things in life are formed by what is seen (Heb 11:3).
1) First, from negative thoughts.
ⓛ I have no meaning in my life.??? ② I am sick of it. It's out of my control.?
③ Everything is a total mess. ④ I am exhausted. It is annoying.? ??
⑤ I don't want to live. I have had it (Ro 8:6).
2) People dream a negative and incorrect dream.
ⓛ A failed life.? ② An isolated and lonely life.? ③ A desperate life.?
④ A miserable life (Jn 10:10).
3) Negative faith.
????? ⓛ Believing that you are a failure.?????? ② Believing there is no chance to succeed.
???? ③ Believing that you are abandoned.? ④ Believing that people hate you.
???? ⑤ Believing that you are unlucky (Heb 11:1).
4) Wrong confessions.
?????? ⓛ Words of complaint.?② Words of grumbling. ③ Words of anger.?
④ Words of despair and sorrow (Pr 6:2).
????? ? These confessions make your life a failure.

2. The one who controls life well.
1) Positive and blessed thinking.
?????? ⓛ I am a fully blessed person.?? ② Something good will happen in my life.
?????? ③ I will succeed.?????? ④ God will help me (Ro 8:28).
2) Dream blessed dreams.
?????? ⓛ Dream that everything will go well. ② Dream of a life overflowing with milk and honey.
?????? ③ Dream that you are recognized and loved. ④ Dream that miracles will happen (Eph 3:20).
3) Have positive faith.
?????? ⓛ Believe that God is with you. ② Believe that good things will happen.
?????? ③ Believe that you will be healthier and happier.
④ Believe that you will succeed and prosper (Ro 4:17).
4) Make a confession of?blessing.
?????? ⓛ Life is cool. It is so pleasing.? ② Everything is good, and will be even better.
???? ③ I am lucky, and I am happy.?????? ④ I feel so good (Mt 18:18).

3. God who calls things that are not as though they were.
God appeared to Abram.
1) He pictured himself having a son, even though he had no child.
2) He pictured himself having as many children as the stars in the sky (Ge 15:5).
3)? He believed in God's miracle (Ro 4:18-22).
4) Abram → Abraham,? Sarai → Sarah (Ge 17:5, 16). Words lead the direction of your life (Pr 18:21).

Conclusion: The reality is that our lives are constantly clothed with our thoughts, dreams, faith, and words, which are invisible.
