Sharing Love and Happiness

John 3:16, NIV

"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son,
that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”

Introduction: All of us want to be loved and be happy. However, we cannot learn to be loved and be happy. Today, I would like to find the way to be loved and be happy.

1. Satan who is the most miserable in the universe.
Satan is a slave to greed. He will never be satisfied even though he possesses us in full measure.
  1) Satan coveted the throne of God (Isa 14:12-15).
  2) Satan tempted Adam to do the same to become like God (Ge 3:4-5).
  3) Satan tried to tempt Jesus with greed?the lust of material, fame, and power (Mt 4:3-10).
  4) Greed and self interest are fallen man’s nature?envy, anger, strife, deceit, and malice
   (Ro 1:29-30).

2. God who is the happiest in the universe.
??? God is happy and satisfied by giving to us endlessly: sun, air, water, and plants (Ge 1:1; 1Ti 6:17).
  1) God gave us His one and only son Jesus (Jn 3:16-17).?
  2) Jesus gave us salvation (Ac 4:12; 16:31).
  3) Jesus gave His life on the Cross (1Pe 2:24; Mt 20:28).
  4) The Holy Spirit gave himself to us (Jn 14:18; 2Co 1:21-22).

3. In order to share love and happiness.
1) The parable of a man who fell into the hands of robbers (Lk 10:30).
   ⓛ A legalist?blames, criticizes, judges, and condemns.
   ② A ritualist?is self-centered and unsympathetic.
③ A Good Samaritan?he shared what he had (oil, wine, clothes, and donkey)
   (Lk 10:33-34).
????????? This man enjoyed the greatest joy and happiness in life.
  2) A life that serves Jesus on earth (Mt 25:35-40)
  3) Give, and it will be given to you (Lk 6:38).
?????? When we sow love and happiness, we will reap love and happiness (2Co 9:6-8).

Conclusion: God uses us to share His love and happiness with others.?It is an inexpressible privilege and glory to serve our God as His instrument.
