Let us Not Forget These Two Things
Heb 11:6

Introduction
There are two fundamental principles in our lives of faith. The one is that God is alive and the other is that he wants to reward His children.

1. Three kinds of people
1) Atheists whose lives are centered on eating, drinking and feasting
2) Lazarus, the beggar who had faith in God but failed to realize that God gives rewards
3) Abraham who knew that God is alive and enjoyed His rewards of both this life and the next life

2. We must experience God to know that He is living
1) Through various trials, God allows us to experience Him
- The glory of God in the Old Testament was revealed through the reign of Pharaoh
- Peter’s experience of imprisonment in Jerusalem
2) The experience of grace through the Word and the Holy Spirit

3. False faith, poverty and failure
1) Remember that God gives rewards
2) The God of our forefathers is not a beggar
- Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph and a land flowing with milk and honey
3) The grace of redemption through Jesus

Conclusion
In our faith life, we should always praise our living God and be assured of the reward that God gives those who earnestly seek Him.
