The Redeeming Grace That Started at the Cross
(3 John 1:2)
“Dear friend, I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well.”
Introduction
If a wheat berry is planted in the ground, it produces many fruits. If it is not, it cannot bear many fruits. (2 Co 4:10-11)
The Apostle Paul said to the Corinthians that we always carry around in our body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body.
He teaches us that we have to carry around the Cross, so that the life of Jesus may be revealed. Where there is death, there is life. ?
1. Redemption of souls given at the Cross
1) God gave us the grace of eternal salvation once for all.
2) God has been giving us this grace continually through the Cross. * (2 Co 7:1)
2. Redemption of all things given at the Cross
- The degradation of Adam brought about curses.
1) Redemption of all things that was realized on the Cross.
① Heaven
② A new heaven and a new earth
2) The beginning of the redemption in our life

3. I pray that you may enjoy good health.
1) Adam was not supposed to face death ? He died because he ate the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
2) The salvation of the body * (2 Co 5:1-5)
3) Dead people will be resurrected at the time of Jesus’ second coming.
4) Healing is the beginning of the salvation of our body.
Conclusion
The moment we start carrying around the death of Jesus on the Cross, the life of Jesus’ redemption begins in us.
