Open His Eyes So He May See
(2 Kings 6:14-17)

* The army of Aram which surrounded Dothan, the sigh of a servant of Elisha, and the reality God showed
Our life is surrounded by competitors, interferers, and enemies at all times. It would be so good to live where there are no such people but that kind of world doesn't exist. All we can do is to overcome and win over these people. For this, there are several rules we need to follow.

1. Do not despair at seeing the circumstances
1) Fear in the heart is like spiritual cold that causes all kinds of diseases.
- When caught with the cold of fear, we think negatively, lose hopes, fall into anxiety and disappointment, and speak defeatedly.
2) God always tells us not to be afraid.
- Those who fear will lose God's love.
There is no fear in love and perfect love expels the fear.
3) Gideon's soldiers and fear
① 22,000 out of 32,000 soldiers returned home in fear.
② David and Goliath ? David, a boy who was incomparable to Goliath in terms of his soft and weak appearance, defeated Goliath because he did not fear but put his faith in God.

2. See the One who is with us
1) The grace of Jesus' atonement on the cross
2) The Holy Spirit's presence and help
3) The comfort from God's Word which helps us armed.
4) The church of God and the communion of the saints

3. Open your eyes and see the spiritual reality
1) See things from God's perspective.
2) Have hopes and dreams.
3) Believe in the miraculous help coming from God.
4) Continue to confess with your lips in a creative manner.
5) Shout to the Lord with praises of thanksgiving.

The heart is the wellspring of life. The fate of a war is already determined in the heart.
'Whether it be a war of fear or a war of conviction'
The central perspective of our hearts determines whether we walk on the water or get drowned.
