What You Ask for in Prayer, Believe That You Have Received It
(Mark 11:20-25)
Jesus wanted to give a practical lesson to His disciples regarding living a daily life in faith. It gives us more impression to learn in the field than to receive a theoretical lesson at class.
1. Have faith in God
- Do not believe in humans or circumstances only but expect for miracles to happen.
Do not believe vaguely but have faith on specific things.
1) “If anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’”
① One must have clear goals - from this mountain into the sea.
② Have a picture of a dream in your heart as it is realized.
2) Have a picture of your dream in your heart as it came true already. Then put your faith in God who performs miracles.
2. Believe that you have received it
1) As a mother is bearing a child, feel, believe, and speak that the dream is conceived inside you.
Feel as if your request in prayer has been answered already.
2) “and does not doubt in his heart”
- Doubts come for sure but thanksgiving is a killer agent for doubts. Let your thanksgiving and praises overflow.
3) “it will be done for him.”
① With the inspiration of the Holy Spirit and the Word
② Look to the things that you have imagined and dreamed about while praying day and night.
③ Things are done as you wanted them to be if you believe and confess with your lips.
3. The practical fourth-dimensional spirituality
1) You ought to have God as the center of all things. * (Psalm 127:1-2)
2) Have hopeful dreams through the Word in the bible, prayers, and the inspiration of the Holy Spirit.
3) Look to the dreams and pray. Then, you come to have the feelings as if they come true and the feelings seize your heart with faith.
- Confidence, peace, and joy appear transcending senses, sight, hearing, and reasonable thinking.
4) Make a creative proclamation.
- Faith becomes true through the words.
If you have doubts thinking that it can be done or you can get it done, hopes and dreams disappear and doubts disturb your minds. It also leads you to say negative words like “I can't do this.” or “It can't be done.” If you believe that “I can do it.”, “I am confident.” and “I am capable of doing it.”, you come to have hopeful dreams, faith that things can be done, speak in positive terms, and experience wonderful miracles. “Whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.”
