Choose Your Language
(James 3:1-12)

We start to learn language from birth to communicate with parents, brothers and sisters, and neighbors. When traveling around the world, we are often amazed by the fact that all the small minority races have their own language regardless of their size. But languages serve more purposes than just conversational one.

1. The languages of the two kingdoms
1) The words that those who believe in Jesus and are saved use
- The words of redemption and salvation, the words of God
2) The languages that create one’s fate
3) Degraded humankind, a life captured by the hands of the devil
- The words that induce the revelation of the devil
- Aside from the languages of the two kingdoms, there are no neutral words.
- The words that induce light and the words that bring about darkness

2. The principle of sowing
1) As you sow, so you shall reap.
2) Words are the seeds that we sow our heart fields.

3. The seeds that neighbors sow in my heart field
1) The words from parents
2) The words from teachers
3) The seeds of thorns sown by the environment
- These seeds control our destiny.

4. The seeds that I sow in my heart field
1) Positive words
2) Negative words
- The seeds that we sow in our heart field become a key element determining the voyage of our life.

Speak positive words, talk about hopeful dreams with faith that we can do it. And make sure that the confession with words overflow with hopes.
