Call to Me and I Will Answer You
(Jer. 33:1~3)

A prayer is like holding onto God’s hand by lifting up both of our hands high, hoping for the help of God. Psalm 91:15 says, “He will call upon me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him.” Also, Isaiah 65:24 says, “Before they call I will answer; while they are still speaking I will hear.” God wants to answer us so much that He answers even before we call. Therefore, we must come to God who gives ear to our prayers when we face problems in life that are difficult to solve.

1. Destroy the barrier between God and us
1) We must destroy the barrier of sin that is an impediment between God and us. (Ps. 66:18)
2) We must repent of our sins where we did not meet our obligations in front of God. (2 Chron. 7:14)
3) When we have committed sin, we should not make excuses and move forward with repentance. (1 John 1:9)

2. Make a clear goal
1) When we come to God and pray, we must have clear goals first. (Gen. 15:5)
2) We must pray earnestly with burning desires in our hearts. (Phil. 2:13)
3) We must pray until we have faith with the desires of our hearts. (Rom. 4:19~21)

3. Pray in patience
1) Jesus taught His disciples to always pray and not give up through “the parable of the unjust judge and the widow”. (Luke 18:1~7)
2) If we shrink back, we will be defeated. We should pray in patience to the end. (Heb. 10:38)
3) When Daniel started praying, there was the devil’s disturbance. However, Daniel did not shrink back, prayed for 21 days, and received answer to his prayer. (Dan. 10:12~14)

4. Pray in faith
1) Believe that your prayer has already been answered and give thanks to God in advance. (Phil. 4:6)
2) Whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it and give thanks. (Mark. 11:24)
3) Remember answered prayers in the past and give thanks. (Ps. 136:11~16)

Conclusion
When we face problems that are difficult to solve in our lives, how glorious and precious it is that we are able to come, pray, and give thanks to our Lord God who is the King of the universe. We, who live by serving God and obeying the works of God, have a truly blessed life.
