God, My God
(Isa. 40:28~31)

Jesus said, “Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit,” during a conversation with Nicodemus. Just as Nicodemus couldn’t understand what Jesus said, people who are not born of water and the Spirit cannot know about the spiritual world. Through conversations with the Holy Spirit, we who believe in Jesus are able to realize the fact that God is with us and that God is our God.

1. God who is with us
1) God promised that He will be with us no matter what kind of situations we face. (Isa. 41:10)
2) God promised that He will give us strength and power. (Isa. 40:28~31)

2. God who meets us
1) Peter went to Jesus by walking on the sea facing a storm. Even if we face storms in life, we can be more than conquerors if the Lord is with us. (Matt. 14:25~29)
2) God gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Therefore, if we go before God, we gain new strength where we will soar on wings like eagles; we will run and not grow weary, we will walk and not be faint. (Ps. 91:1~12)
3) God said, “Because he loves me, I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name. He will call upon me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him.” (Ps. 91:13~16)

3. God who responds to us
1) God said, “Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.” When we who are God’s children pray, God who is our Father hears our prayers and answers. (Jer. 33:2~3)
2) We must believe that God will reward those who seek Him and pray. (Heb. 11:6)

Conclusion
Even people who believe in Jesus can encounter storms of life. However, they can be more than conquerors in any situation because God is with them. God is always with us. Therefore, if we make creative declarations by embracing dreams and hopes in our hearts and by having faith in sufferings, the Holy Spirit will hover over us and amazing changes and creation will take place in our life.
