For I Am with You
(Isa. 41:10)

As we live our lives, we have various fears. God said, “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” (Isa. 41:10) If we believe in God, we can overcome all kinds of fear.

1. An uncertain future
1) Many people live by being fearful of their uncertain future. (Luke 12:22)
2) God prepares good things for us. (1 Cor. 2:9~10)

2. David who met God
1) David received God’s help many times. When a lion and a bear attacked his sheep, God delivered and protected him. (1 Sam. 17:34~35)
2) When the Israelites were in fear because they were attacked by the Philistines, David boldly moved forward in the name of God and gained victory in the fight against Goliath. (1 Sam. 17:36~37)
3) David declared, “For the battle is the Lord’s, and he will give all of you into our hands.” David was convinced of victory and went to war. (1 Sam. 17:47)

3. The way to overcome fear
1) We must have knowledge about God in order to overcome fear. (Matt. 7:9~11)
2) We must have faith that believes in God in order to overcome fear. (Isa. 43:1)
3) If we have dreams and faith, we need to make creative confessions with our mouths. (Ps. 91:1~7)

Conclusion
Those who tremble with fear cannot win in war. When Gideon gathered an army before the fight against the Midianites, God told him to turn back those who tremble with fear. Those who have thoughts of defeat by having fear cannot win. We must know who God is and dream of gaining victory with faith. And we must declare victory with our spoken words. Then, Almighty God will fight for us and give us amazing victory.
