Jesus and Nicodemus
(John 3:15)

God created man, following His image and likeness. Human beings’ spirits died because they rebelled against God’s command and ate from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil in the middle of the garden. As you look in today’s scripture, Jesus taught about “what people need to do to be born again and enter the kingdom of God” through a conversation with Nicodemus.

1. Nicodemus who asked the way
1) Nicodemus who was a Pharisee and a leader of the Jews came to Jesus. (John 3:2)
2) Nicodemus couldn’t understand Jesus’ teaching about being born again and the kingdom of God. People whose spirits died do not know about the spiritual world. (John 3:3~4)
3) Nicodemus came to Jesus to ask about the path of eternal life. Not only Nicodemus, but all people since Adam have lost their way due to sin. (John 14:6)

2. Jesus who is the Way, the Truth and the Life
1) Jesus said that no one can enter the kingdom of God unless he is born of water and the Spirit and that flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. (John 3:5~6)
2) Jesus likened those who are born of the Spirit as how the wind blows. (John 3:7~8)
3) When we accept Jesus who was hung on the cross with faith, we receive salvation. (John 3:14~16)

3. The fourth-dimensional spirituality that changes life
1) People who are born of the Spirit can use Jesus’ authority. (John 14:14)
2) Have dreams in hearts, believe in the word of God, and make declarations. (Mark 9:23)

Conclusion
God creates and governs the heavens and the earth with the word. We who have become the children of God can create and govern the circumstances of life not only with our strength, but with Jesus’ authority. This is because the Holy Spirit governs the third dimensional world with our thoughts, dreams, faith, and spoken words and accomplishes the works of changes and creation. Therefore, we must look to the cross of Jesus and live by having dreams in our hearts. And we must move forward with faith and by making declarations.
