Cast out the Demons
(Mark 1:32~34)

Today, many people do not believe that the devil and demons exist. However, the devil and demons work from behind our life. While Jesus did His ministry on earth, He drove out demons and healed the sick wherever He went. Jesus said, “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy.” That thief is the devil.

1. The devil who takes the power of the air
1) Because the devil is spirit, we cannot see it. Even though the devil is invisible, it is working behind our life.
2) God gave authority to rule over all living things on the land and in seas and the sky to human beings. But, they had to live as slaves to the devil because Adam and Eve committed sins.

2. The devil, our enemy
1) The devil confuses the hearts of the nonbelievers and leads them to not accept the gospel.
2) The devil tries to steal and kill and destroy by attacking our thoughts and hearts.
3) The devil works to bring physical diseases by repressing us. Not all diseases are the works of demons. However, in many cases, there are works of demons behind diseases.

3. Resist the devil
1) Jesus destroyed the devil and gave us authority to control every power of the enemy by dying on the cross. We can resist the devil with Jesus’ authority.
2) We must believe in victory given by Jesus and resist the devil with the word of God and prayer.

Conclusion
Although Jesus gave us authority to resist the devil and cast out demons, there are many people who are not using that authority and facing pain. When we rely on the precious blood of Jesus, resist the devil and cast out demons, we will enjoy good health and that all will go well with us, even as our souls are getting along well.
