In the Name of Jesus Christ, Stand up and Walk
(Acts 3:1~10)

Today, there are many Christians who do not live a powerful life of faith despite the fact that they have become God’s children after believing in Jesus. This is because they do not clearly know about things that were given to them through Jesus’ death on the cross. If we surely know the “things that we have,” we will not fall in despair and live a victorious life no matter what kind of situations we face.

1. The name of Jesus Christ
1) We have the name of Jesus. There is grace in which Jesus’ body was torn and His blood was shed in the name of Jesus. There is also the fivefold gospel and threefold blessing in His name.
2) We must use authority and power of Jesus’ name. In the same way Peter made a crippled man to stand up in the name of Jesus, we must drive out demons and heal diseases in the name of Jesus.

2. The Holy Spirit who is with us
1) Jesus sent the Holy Spirit just like His promise that “I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Counselor to be with you forever.” (John 14:16)
2) We are not living alone, but are living with the Holy Spirit. A life that is with the Holy Spirit is not lonely and can be more than a conqueror even if difficulties come.

3. Reach out a hand of love
1) If we look around us, many people are facing sufferings by sitting on the road called despair.
2) We have no silver or gold. However, we have Jesus. We must go in the name of Jesus to those who are in despair with sins, filthiness, diseases, poverty and death and reach out a hand of love.

Conclusion
What do we have today? We have the cross of Jesus. In addition, the Holy Spirit is with us. Even today, Jesus is reaching out a hand of love to us and telling us to stand up from the seat of despair. Take Jesus’ hand now. Then, a life that cannot walk will walk, jump and be changed into a life that praises God. We must live a life that preaches Jesus who solves fundamental problems of life to those who are in despair.
