God’s Thoughts and Our Thoughts
(Mark 8:1~9)
Thoughts are important resources of life given by God. Therefore, we must use our thoughts well in order to live a successful life. What does it mean to use our thoughts well? That means to change our thoughts as God’s thoughts. There is nothing negative in God’s thoughts. We must guard our thoughts to be with God.
1. Our thoughts
1) Today, there are numerous people who are living in the midst of disappointment and despair with negative thoughts.
2) Wrong thoughts stemmed from Adam’s sin. When Adam rebelled against the word of God and committed sin, his thoughts became corrupt that he was filled with negative and wicked thoughts.
2. God’s thoughts
1) To change our thoughts to the thoughts that make God joyful, we must believe in Jesus and be born of the Holy Spirit. We must put off our old self and become a new person to have new thoughts.
2) God works through those who think “I can do it.” We must change our thought of “I can’t do it” to “I can do it” so that we can experience the miracles of God.
3. Keep your thoughts
1) Even when we have become new people after believing in Jesus, we must always stay awake spiritually and guard our thoughts. God’s thoughts are to give us life and peace. Therefore, we must follow God’s thoughts even though things are invisible and inaudible.
2) When we face difficulties, we say there are no ways. However, God has hundreds of thousands of ways. When we pray to God, He opens a path.
Conclusion
There are various difficulties in life. When people encounter hardships that they cannot handle, they say that there are no ways for them to solve them. However, there are ways for those who believe in God. Jesus is the way. Because Jesus who is the path of righteousness, holiness, healing, prosperity and heaven is with us, we can conquer all kinds of difficulties.
