Where Are You?
(Ge. 3:1~24)

God who we believe in is a good God. When looking at the beginning of creation, it says, “Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.” (Ge. 1:2) It says that “God saw all that he had made, and it was very good” on the sixth day. Therefore, God the Creator is a God who creates good things.

1. God who made good things
1) Because God is a good God, He creates good things. When he created light, He saw that it was good. When he created land and seas, He saw that they were good. When He created the sun, the moon, stars and animals and plants to their various kinds, He saw that they were good.
2) Because Adam and Eve were created in God’s image and likeness, they were the greatest beings among the creatures before they committed sin. While they lived in the Garden of Eden where there is no harm and destruction and where it is filled with various fruits, they walked with God and had close fellowship with Him.

2. The land cursed by sin
1) God said to Adam, “You are free to eat from any tree in the garden; but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat of it you will surely die.” Adam and Eve fell for the wicked temptation of Satan and rebelled against God.
2) Consequently, the land in which God saw that it was good was cursed and produced thorns and thistles. The spirits of human beings who were created in a noble way, following God’s image died. They were driven out from the beautiful land that God had prepared and lived by carrying laborious and heavy burdens.

3. The grace of rebirth
1) God did not give up on Adam and Eve, made garments of skin and clothed them. God shed blood of an animal and made garments of skin for clothing signified that Jesus Christ will shed blood in the future and that God will clothe people with Christ.
2) Jesus died on the cross as the sin offering to save us. As the lamb of God who carries the sins of the world, He became the sacrifice of atonement for the whole world. Thus, if we are in Jesus who is the Lord of life, our spirit, soul and body come back to life.

Conclusion
If we believe in Jesus and are born of the Holy Spirit, we can enjoy a life where we may enjoy good health and that all may go well with us, even as our souls are getting along well as new people. God has forgiven us of our sins and transgression through Jesus Christ and saved us. In addition, He gives us faith and obedience in us to make all things to go well and to make our bodies and hearts healthy. He gives us the life of resurrection on the last day.
