You Will Know the Truth, and the Truth Will Set You Free
(Jn. 8:32)

Since Adam and Eve committed sin, human beings are living in pain by being tied to the chain of sins, transgressions, diseases, poverty and death. What do we need to do in order to gain freedom from such shackle? Jesus said, “Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”

1. We should know the truth
1) Jesus said, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” (John 14:6) Jesus is the truth.
2) If we know Jesus who is the truth, we can live by having faith and peace. If we have faith towards the Lord, there is peace in our hearts. If there is peace, there is power in our spoken words.

2. We should be filled with the Holy Spirit
1) It is important to know the truth. However, it is not easy to follow the truth. Jesus said, “But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.” (Jn. 14:26) Therefore, the Holy Spirit must help us in order for us to realize the truth and follow it.
2) Jesus’ disciples were completely changed after receiving the Holy Spirit. When they realized who Jesus is by the help of the Holy Spirit, they no longer feared people. They moved forward by risking their lives and boldly preached about Jesus who died on the cross and was resurrected in front of crowds.

3. We should pray with dreams
1) Jesus said, “Until now you have not asked for anything in my name. Ask and you will receive, and your joy will be complete.” (Jn. 16:24)
2) Accept the dreams and visions given by the Holy Spirit. Look to them, believe in them, pray and make confessions. Then, the Holy Spirit will work, and miracles will take place in our life.

4. We should believe in God’s help
1) If we have prayed by going before God, we should firmly believe that God will help us. Truly believing in God means to commit all things to Him and to have comfort in our hearts.
2) God is omniscient and omnipotent. He loves us to the point where He gave His Son. If we know about the power and love of God, we can commit all problems to Him and enjoy freedom and peace.

Conclusion
Knowing the truth and living your life by following the truth are possible with the help of the Holy Spirit. Be filled with the Holy Spirit no matter what kind of situations you face. Then, you will escape from every shackle and enjoy true freedom.
