A Quarrel with the Devil
(Mk. 16:16~18)

We are surrounded by the invisible spiritual world. Whether it is God’s influence or Satan’s influence, human beings can’t live by escaping from spiritual influence. The devil confuses the whole world and makes a habit of bringing wickedness and destruction. We must know the identity of the wicked spirit and firmly stand against it.

1. Don’t be deceived by the devil’s lies
1) The devil makes us lose balance of our hearts through negative words. In addition, the devil makes people to become slaves of avarice by leading them to the cravings of sinful man, the lust of his eyes and the boasting of what he has and does.
2) If we are deceived by the devil’s lies, we will choose the wrong path and ultimately take the path of defeat.

2. Put on the full armor of God
1) We must put on the full armor given by God and stand against the devil. God has given us the fivefold gospel and threefold blessing and the full armor called the fourth dimensional spirituality.
2) The Bible says, “With the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.”

3. Rely on the Word and pray hard
1) After we have armed ourselves with the full armor of God, there is something we need to do. In order for the full armor to work in our life, we must rely on the word of God and pray hard.
2) If we don’t pray, we will fall asleep spiritually. When we are asleep even if we are armed with good weapons, the devil that steals and kills and destroys will come and destroy our life.

Conclusion
We are the people who live by not looking to the ground, but looking up to the sky. God said, “Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.” (Jer. 33:3) Therefore, we should never be discouraged as long as we can pray.
