Great Power, the Cross of Jesus Christ
Galatians 6:14-16
“May I never boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world. Neither circumcision nor uncircumcision means anything; what counts is a new creation. Peace and mercy to all who follow this rule, even to the Israel of God.”

We serve Jesus as our Savior, so we must be strong and courageous in Jesus Christ. A life of faith is a spiritual war. We must resist and drive out the devil (1Pet 5:8-9). We must overcome the world with the faith of the Cross.

1. The power of the Cross (Gal 6:14).
The foundation of our faith shakes when it is wrongly laid and is struck by trouble. We must lay the foundation of our faith on the Cross of Jesus Christ. Apostle Paul lived his life boasting and testifying only about the Cross (1Co 2:2). The Cross has the power of salvation (1Co 1:18). The precious blood of the Cross sets us free from the domain of sin and death (Rev 12:11).
Equip yourself with the faith of the Cross (Gal 2:20).

2. A life that is newly changed (Gal 6:15).
Our status changed when we accepted Jesus (2Co 5:17).
We can live with authority as God’s children (Jn 1:12).
Live a life that bears fruit through the fullness of the Holy Spirit (Eph 5:18; Gal 5:22-23).

3. A life that follows the Word (Gal 6:16).
God’s blessings come to those who live according to His Word (Dt 28:1-6). Let the Word of God guide your life (Ps 119:71,105). Love is the theme of God’s Word. We should love God and our neighbors (Mt 22:37, 39). Practice the love of Jesus Christ (1Jn 4:7-8).
