The Power of the Precious Blood of the Cross

Hebrews 9:22

In fact, the law requires that nearly everything be cleansed with blood,
and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness.

The core of Christianity is the Cross of Jesus Christ (1Co 1:18). Jesus who had no sin was hung on a cross to save humankind. The Cross is the power of Almighty God and our source of pride (Gal 6:14). When we trust in the power of the precious blood of Jesus Christ, we and our household and church will be blessed. What kind of power does the Cross have?


1. The power to forgive sin (Heb 9:22).

Since Adam and Eve disobeyed God?셲 command by eating from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, sin has taken root in the history of humankind. All descendants of Adam are born in sin, live among sin, and were destined to die (Ro 3:23). Many have tried to solve the matter of sin, but no one and no religion has found the answer. When Adam and Eve were ashamed after they sinned, God made garments of skin for Adam and his wife and clothed them (Ge 3:21). In order to gain God?셲 forgiveness, He commanded the Israelites to offer the blood of an animal. For the sins of humankind, God sent Jesus to this world and made Him as an atoning sacrifice in order to forgive the sins of all humankind (Heb 9:12,14). Now when we trust in the precious blood of Jesus of the Cross, we will be saved, forgiven, and have a new life.

2. The power to heal (Isa 53:5).

Jesus came to carry our disease (Mt 8:17). During His life on earth, He healed every kind of sickness and disease (Mt 4:24). Rely on the power of the precious blood of Jesus. Even today, His healing ministry continues (1Pe 2:24; Heb 13:8). The precious blood of Jesus has the power to heal. When we rely on His precious blood, every kind of physical and mental disease can be healed. It is not by might, nor by human power, but by the power of the precious blood of Jesus.


3. The power to defeat the devil.

The precious blood of Jesus has the power to overcome the devil. All authorities of sin and death knelt down before Jesus, because He died on the Cross. The devil was defeated and fully disarmed. The devil trembles before the blood of Jesus. No authority can stand against the blood of Jesus (Rev 12:11). Resist the devil by relying on the precious blood of Jesus Christ (Jas 4:7). Defeat the devil, and live a victorious life of faith.혻혻

Every day, cleanse yourself by the precious blood of Jesus. Be forgiven by the precious blood of Jesus, and gain freedom from disease. Resist temptation, trials, and trouble through the power of the blood of the Cross. When you rely on the precious blood of Jesus Christ, you and your household will be changed and renewed. Then healing power will flow like a river, and God?셲 peace and grace will come upon you (1Pe 1:2).혻혻
