God?셲 Love for Us

Isaiah 27:1-6 (NIV)

?? In that day, the LORD will punish with his sword, his fierce, great and powerful sword, Leviathan the gliding serpent, Leviathan the coiling serpent; he will slay the monster of the sea. 혻2 In that day?붴€쁓ing about a fruitful vineyard: 3 I, the LORD, watch over it; I water it continually. I guard it day and night so that no one may harm it. 4 I am not angry. If only there were briers and thorns confronting me! I would march against them in battle; I would set them all on fire. 5 Or else let them come to me for refuge; let them make peace with me, yes, let them make peace with me.?? 6 In days to come Jacob will take root, Israel will bud and blossom and fill all the world with fruit.??

God is taking care of us with His everlasting love, we who became His children by believing in Jesus. God controls our lives and leads us to the path of righteousness. Today?셲 message records God?셲 amazing love and plan for His chosen people. This is a word of blessing for all Christians.

1. God who is the ruler of history (Isa 27:1).

Leviathan symbolizes Satan. Even now the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. However, when the Day of Judgment comes, the devil will be destroyed forever. David cried out to God during a time of despair (Ps 13:1-2). Everyone faces trouble, but do not lose heart during trouble. Be patient and fully rely on God who is the ruler of history and takes care of our lives. In his prayer, David was convinced of God?셲 grace (Ps 13:5-6). Hold on to the Cross, and go forward with absolute and positive faith.

2. God who makes us a fruitful vineyard (Isa 27:2).

A beautiful vineyard refers to a fruitful vineyard, and it symbolizes churches and Christians (Jn 15:5). God who chose us, calls us as His children and enables us to live a rich life full of grace in Jesus Christ (Jn 10:10). God makes us a fruitful vineyard. Sometimes we may face difficulties, but the Lord himself wipes away our tears and leads us to overflowing joy and peace.

3. God who is the watcher of the vineyard (Isa 27:3-4).

Sometimes little foxes ruin the vineyards by uncovering the roots (Ss 2:15). However, God himself becomes a gardener and protects us (Jn 15:1). After the fall of Adam and Eve when they sinned against God, He poured out His wrath on sinful humankind and judged them. However, for those who repented and accepted Jesus as their Savior, God himself became the gardener and takes care of them. God watches over us day and night so that we will not be harmed by the power of darkness (Ps 121:4-6).

4. God who makes us bear fruit (Isa 27:6).

Furthermore, God, our gardener, restores us by the grace of Jesus, and enables us to bear much fruit. Have a firm root of faith in Jesus (Col 2:6-7). Also, bear the fruit of the Holy Spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Gal 5:22-23). Then we will bear much fruit as God promised us.

God Almighty who rules history is our gardener. Our suffering does us good in Christ (Ro 5:3-4). We know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him (Ro 8:28). Victory will be ours (Jn 16:33). Therefore, always rejoice in the Lord, and the blessings of God will be given to you.
