癤풤od?셲 Purpose for Us
(Ro 8:28-30)

The God whom we trust and serve is a truly good God. He sent His Only Begotten Son Jesus to the earth and opened the way for salvation. Moreover, He gives every blessing to those who live according to His will (3Jn 1:2). Those who have received salvation and blessings from God must live for His glory.

1. God works for the good.
In all things, God works for the good of those who have faith in Jesus (Ro 8:28). Nothing happens by chance in Jesus Christ. Many of our unexpected trials and troubles are just the process of work being done according to the Lord?셲 will. Look at Joseph who became a governor of Egypt. Joseph received a great dream from God, but he went through inexpressible trials. He was hated and sold by his brothers as a slave to Egypt, and was put in prison by false accusation. However, at the end of this deep, long test, God granted Joseph incredible blessings one could hardly imagine. God works for the good of those who trust and rely on the Lord.

2. God encourages us to conform to the likeness of Christ
God predestined believers to conform to the likeness of his Son (Ro 8:29). God?셲 will for us is to resemble Christ, which is the process of sanctification. Once born again by faith, until they go to heaven, the only goal for Christians should be to resemble Jesus. That is why we should continue to struggle to become a ?쁫ittle Jesus.?? This is the true image of Christians (Ac 11:26). Christians are those who follow and resemble Christ (Pup 2:5). When we stand before the Lord in the future, we will completely be transformed like Christ (1Jn 3:2). This is called glorification. I pray that you resemble Jesus every day.

3. God leads us throughout our lives
God is in control of our whole lives. He predestined, chose, justified and glorified us (Ro 8:20). Those of us who believe in Jesus are the ones chosen by God before the creation of the world (Eph 1:4, Jan 15:16). We have all been justified in Jesus Christ and by the Holy Spirit (1Co 6:11); and blessed to live amidst the glory of the Lord (Jan 17:22). The Counselor, the Holy Spirit, is with us and leads us through our lives (Jan 14:18). I wish you for you to commit everything to the Lord (Ps 37:5).

Become a prayerful person of the Holy Spirit. When you hold on to the Word of God, dream a holy dream, press on with faith by the guidance of the Holy Spirit. God?셲 wonderful work will be revealed in your lives.
