癤풭ur Praise and Prayer in Times of Suffering
(Mk 14:26)

Praise is one of the marvelous blessings God has given to us. When we are discouraged and sad, praise gives us comfort and courage; helps us depend on the Lord alone and love Him more. Praise is a spiritual ladder that connects this world with heaven. When we go to heaven we will leave only with our praises to God.

1. God is enthroned in our praise.
Psalm 22:3 says, ?쏽et you are enthroned as the Holy One; you are the praise of Israel.??God is enthroned in and pleased with our praise. Heavenly hosts and angels are continually beside God?셲 throne praising Him. This is what Isaiah saw in his vision (Isa 6:3). After David carried the Ark of the Covenant to Jerusalem, he made the Levites praise God and give thanks to Him (1Ch 16:4, 23-27). When we praise God, He is glorified, demons scatter, and we win our spiritual battle.

2. God wants us to praise Him when we are in trouble.
Jesus went up the Mount of Olives the night before He was crucified to pray and praise God (Mk 14:26). Jesus praised God even near the time of His death. When we face problems and troubles, we should go to the Lord and praise Him. When the Apostle Paul was put in prison, he experienced a tremendous miracle because he praised God and prayed. (Ac 16:25). A violent earthquake opened the prison doors and loosed the prisoners??chains (Ac 16:26). We also read in the OT that Jehoshaphat, the king of Judah was able to win when he let the choir go ahead of the battle (2Ch 20:20-23). When you have a problem, do not sigh with despair, but give praise and thanks to God.

3. God wants us to pray when we are in trouble.
The night before his ultimate suffering on the Cross, Jesus prayed all night (Mk 14:32). Jesus committed everything to God through prayer (Mk 14:36). When you are in trouble or when you have to make an important decision, pray earnestly to the Lord. The Lord hears and answers us when we pray (Jer 33:3). I hope that you keep your knees bent in prayer before the Lord.

Conclusion
God is there listening when we praise Him. God hears our prayer and praises during times of suffering and grants us grace and blessings. I pray in the Name of the Lord that you bring glory to Him because of your praises and prayers in all adverse circumstances.
