癤풲he People Who Crucified Jesus on the Cross 혻
(Acts 2:36-38)

The heart of the Christian faith is the cross of Jesus Christ. The tremendous work for human redemption was accomplished on the cross by the Lord. Therefore, we should boast about the cross of Jesus Christ in our life.

1. Those who crucify Jesus
Jesus died in pain, bleeding with the crown of thorns on His head and both His hands and feet nailed. Yet, the event of the cross was not finished 2,000 years ago. We must not forget that even now we nail Jesus??hands and feet every time we commit sin. (Heb. 6:4-6) We are the sinners who crucify Jesus. Moreover, we have become living witnesses of Jesus Christ?셲 resurrection. That?셲 why it is the cross of Jesus that we should boast about during our life.

2. The opened way of the cross through repentance
This cross is the symbol of God?셲 love. Our Lord changed the cross that was the symbol of shame and curses into the symbol of love. Therefore, whenever we see the cross, we must realize how great the Lord's love is for us. When we deeply experience the love of the cross, we can live as children of God.

2) The cross is the symbol of salvation
Since there is no other way than the cross to grant sinners the grace of atonement, the Lord was willing to be crucified. Without the cross, no one can ascend to God. People in the world try to solve the problem of sin and death through various human ways, but it's all in vain. That?셲 because God gave us the cross of the Lord as the only channel for human salvation.

3) The cross is the symbol of freedom and victory
Christ has given us true freedom through the love and grace of the cross. (Gal 5:1) When a man violates even one of a many commandments of the law, he must be judged for that. (Gal 3:10). However, the Lord fulfilled the requirements of the law by being crucified in our stead. (Rom. 8:3-4) That?셲 why we have been freed from the curse and judgment of the law.

When the gospel of the cross is shared, individuals, households, and the entire world will be changed. When we repent wholeheartedly, the way of the cross is opened and we receive forgiveness, the Holy Spirit as a gift, and eternal life.
