I Was Filled with Delight
(Proverbs 8:30-31)

Jesus, the wisdom of God has been with God before the creation of the world. When God created all the creatures in the world, Jesus worked with God and was filled with delight. Jesus, the craftsperson became human to be on the cross willingly to give eternal life for us. This amazing grace of God enables us to be children of God. Therefore, we should live a life to please God with all our heart and soul. Proverbs chapter 8 verses 30 to 31 sing for the joy of the wisdom in joining the creation of the world. This wisdom is Jesus Christ.

1. The life of walking with the Lord
Jesus was with God when God planned His creation of the world. And Jesus was with God when God was actually creating the world by working together. Verse 30 says, “I was at his side”. Also Jesus came to the earth to do what pleases God, walking with God all the times. Jesus has always been with God. Likewise, we should live with God just like Jesus. Sometimes we have difficulties before us and feel frustrated because things are not successfully going around as to our plans. However, we should continue to walk with the Lord to please God.

2. The life of the craftsperson
When God created all the things in the world, Jesus was perfectly achieving creation at God’s side. The verse 30 says, “I was the craftsman”. Jesus, the creator of all the things is reining all the things and is in the center of all the things even now. God created us in His image and poured us the power of creation. Therefore we should be filled with the Holy Spirit who is the power of creation as well as the Word of God thereby creating new history. We should deliver hope to somewhere filled with depression, joy to where filled with sadness, and praise and thanksgiving to somewhere filled with complaints and blames.

3. The life of pleasing God
Joining God’s creation, Jesus was pleasing God day after day, and was happy looking at all his creation. Proverbs chapter 8 verses 30 to 31 say, “I was filled with delight day after day, rejoicing always in his presence, rejoicing in his whole world and delighting in mankind.” Jesus has always been happy before God. Therefore we should give thanks to the grace of God who created all the things and gave us them by pleasing Him. We should live a life with the cross-centered faith of absolute positivity and absolute thanksgiving to glorify God by praying hard all the times and being filled with the Holy Spirit and the Word.
