Heaven and Hell
(Luke 16:19??6)

Death which is a mysterious subject inescapable is dreadful to people in the world. However, it is not a scary subject to Christians any more. It is the door to heaven where eternal happiness exists after all the troubles of the world end. Therefore, we should hold hope of heaven in the land.

1. Death everyone has to meet

Jesus told about a rich man and the poor Nazarus. The rich man wasn't interest in helping other or seeking for spiritual life. Rather, he sought for pleasure for himself. The beggar, Nazarus lived in front of the door of the rich man. He was poor and sick and didn't have anyone to take care of him. However, he had faith that God would help him. One day, death came to him. Death is equal to everyone. Therefore, we should prepare for our death while we live. There is no meaning even though we have many things in this world. Therefore, we should not be greedy in money, fame and worldly matters. We should seek for heavenly things.

2. The world after death

Death does not end. People who don't receive Jesus will go to hell where they will be punished forever, while people who believe in Jesus go to heaven where eternal joy will be given after death. Heaven and hell has been told by Jesus, who overcame the death and the son of God. The church started with witnessing resurrection of Jesus and holding hope toward heaven. Heaven is not where people can enter by spending a lot of money or achieving great feats..

3. Blessings in heaven and punishments in hell

The world where we live has curses because of disobedience. Therefore, we are troubled by poverty, diseases and many other problems in the world. However, there are no more agony and sorrow in heaven and it is filled with joy and peace of God. However, hell is very different from heaven. People who are deceived and go to wrong way of sins will be punished with Satan forever. There are no ways to get out of hell. Therefore, we should spread Jesus to our family and neighbors who don't know Jesus. We should be dedicated as witnesses of gospel, hoping to share joy in heaven after we meet there again.
