Let Us Go up to the Mountain of the Yahweh
(Mi. 4:1-4)


People in the world look for happiness. They earn money, meet other people and put their efforts to be happy. However, the real happiness is not just in the world but in God because God gives us the real happiness as the source of the blessing.

1. Faith that comes to God
When the last time comes, people come before God. We should go up to the temple of God. We will find the real happiness once our life looking for happiness of the world tries to come before God. Looking at the parable of a Good Samaritan person, a man was robbed on the way to Jericho from Jerusalem. (Lk. 10:30) This person represents a life coming down to the world of sins, being away from God. People without God is living in the world of poverty, curses, diseases and pains as their abundance is robbed by demons. We should repent our life pursuing earthly matters and hold the cross of Jesus to come before God.

2. Faith that is guided by the Word
When we come before God and try to worship and love the temple of God, God gives us the Word of God. (Mi. 4:2) God teaches us through the Word of God to lead us to the right directions. Depending on others makes us hurt and betrayed. Looking at God and depending on God will allow us to enjoy real happiness. It will be done by depending on and being led by the Word of God. Let us live with meditating the Word of God days and nights and being taught by the Word of God. Let us listen to the voice of God through the Word of God and decide to obey to the voice of God to have different life. Then, we will be blessed like trees planted near the water so that the leaves will be green and bear much more fruits.

3. Faith that brings peace
The life of sinful people has been full of conflicts, tensions and fights and their history has been filled with ceaseless battles. God judged the sins and brought peace. (Mi. 4:3) 73 years have passed since the separation of Korea. 70 years have passed since our government was established. 68 years have passed since the Korea war. As time has passed, North Korea has developed nuclear weapons and launched missiles for unification under communism. Hoverer, God will nullify all their evil plans. God will allow us to have peace between nations and people. As christians, we should march ahead of others. The Jesus, King of Peace will bring peace in the world.
