Revive Your Work in the Midst of Years
(Hab. 3:2)

When we start believing in Jesus, we are giving thanks to God and being filled with the Holy Spirit. As time passes, our passion seems to be lukewarm and idle spiritually. If we are in the situation, we should repent our sins right away and walk with Jesus with giving thanks to God and becoming joyful all the time.

1. The greatness of the Lord
We should meet Almighty God to restore the passion of our faith. The prophet questioned the problems of sins in the world profoundly. God met him and let him know how to solve the problems of the evil. After he met God, he put down the worries and anxiety caused by problems of the reality. (Hab. 3:17-18) He had strong faith that everything would be good thanks to the greatest wisdom and power of God. When we meet God, our worries and anxiety become smaller and the greatness of God will be shown gloriously. By experiencing the almighty God, enjoy the enormous peace and joy in your days.

2. Revive your work
God told the prophet that God would judge the sins of Israel through Babylon and then Babylon would be judged. However, the judgment of Babylon was to punish their sins while that of Israel was to repent Israel people. The prayer of the prophet, Habakkuk was that Israel would repent their sins and restored spiritually even they would be judged. The revival of our spirit will be achieved by renewing our spirit. The spiritual sins are not only related to moral corruptions or wrongdoing. Being away from God is also the spiritual sin. (Rev. 2:4) We should repent all our sins and transform our life by the words of God and prayers so that we will be restored and spiritually awakened.

3. Have mercy on us
We will be judged when we make sins habitually without repenting our sins. Sins arise when the passion of faith in God disappears. We need to get rid of lukewarm attitude of our faith. (Rev. 3:15-16) David lost his passion of faith as soon as the throne became stabilized and the nations became peaceful. Soon, he committed sins of taking the wife of other soldier. However, David repented his sins humbly with tears when he was warned of his sins by the reproach of God. When David was lowered humbly and asked God to forgive him without complaining, God forgave him and allowed him to have the mercy of God. We should ask the mercy of God by repenting our sins humbly to be restored spiritually thereby enjoying the forgiveness, joy and the blessing of God.
