He Delivered Them from All Their Troubles
(Ps. 34:17~20)

The greatest king, David was loved and respected a lot. Before he became a king, he was disliked by the former king, Saul and hid in the desert as a runaway. However, he kept his faith, giving praise and thanks to God as the faithful man of God.

1. Faith that gives praise and thanks to the Lord
David became the great hero after he defeated the Giant, Goliath. However, David had become a fugitive as Soul was jealous enough to try to kill David. David, however, praised God with looking at God only in the troubles. (Ps. 34:1-2) Giving praises and thanks to God in the amidst of adversity can be done by the real Christians. Those who keep praising and giving thanks to God regardless of the situations will live a blessed life. We should overcome difficult moments by giving praises and thanks to God instead of complaining and grumbling before God.

2. Faith that pleads with the Lord
The reason David was able to not to lose gratitude and praises was he had strong faith that God would save him. (Ps. 34:4) David prayed hard for seeking for God when he faced various hardships. We should have positive faith in God. With holding the message of God and praying with faith, we can experience the amazing answer of God. Let us trust everlasting words of God and march with positive and absolute faith in the Lord.

3. Blessings of suffering
Not always sufferings give us negative influences. Sufferings break our arrogance, pride, and evil doings in our faith so that we are transformed to become Christians to please the Lord. Sometimes, a righteous man should go through various ordeals. The righteous man will realize the grace of God despite adversities thereby being saved by God while the evil man will be perished in the middle of sufferings at the end. (Ps. 1:6) Give praises and thanks to God when you are in troubles. Pray hard with faith. Be recognized as a righteous man by God. Finally, the sufferings driving us to feel agonizing will become the glorious blessings.
