Let Us Fix Our Eyes on Jesus
(Heb. 12:2)

Many young people living today have lost the goal and the direction of the life, being depressed, frustrated and wandering purposelessly in despair. The only hope for those who are in distress is Jesus. Therefore, we should come before Jesus by beholding Jesus when we meet hardships.

1. Jesus being the source of our faith
Jesus whom we should believe in, depend on and behold is the Lord of faith. (Heb. 12:2) Jesus becomes the beginning and the origin of our faith. And Jesus gives us faith for us to be led to the salvation thereby becoming the children of God so that we can live a victorious life. Also, Jesus enables our faith to grow and perfect our faith. Likewise, Jesus becomes the beginning our faith and the end of our faith. Jesus came to the world 2000 years ago as the leader of faithful leader. Furthermore, Jesus completed the faithful race toward the cross. Now, we should fix our eyes on Jesus and follow Jesus.

2. Let us fix our eyes on Jesus
Now we become the precious children of God. We should change the ways of our thoughts into those of Jesus. We should think how Jesus will do before we act and decide to do something. We have to hold on Jesus tightly. When we walk with Jesus, we can go through difficulties and do amazing things. Jesus saves the people who march forward God by depending on Jesus and Jesus gives His mercy to those people. (Heb. 7:25) Therefore, we can do everything in him who gives us power when we fix our eyes onto Jesus.

3. Be victorious by the grace of the cross
Jesus completed the great mission of salvation for humans on the cross. Therefore, the cross becomes the grace, the power, and the blessing of God to us. Therefore, Apostle Paul boasted about the cross of Jesus during his life. The people in the world think of the cross of Jesus as foolish. However, the death on the cross of Jesus has become the greatest victory and eternal hope, not a failure and despair. (Php. 2:8-10) Now, we should make our goal clear and fix our eyes onto Jesus, marching with strong faith so that we overcome all hardships and lead a victorious life at the end.
