A Man Reaps What He Sows

Galatians 6:7-9, NIV
7 Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows.
8 The one who sows to please his sinful nature, from that nature will reap destruction; the one who sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life.
9 Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.
?

Ever since Adam, humankind has been engaged in agricultural life. This agricultural life has become convenient with the development of science and machinery, but the law of sowing and reaping has never been changed.
?
1. Sowing and reaping in the material world.
1) Plowing the land ? street soil, gravel soil, thorn field, good soil.
2) If you sow peas, you will reap peas, and if you sow red beans, you will reap red beans (Ge 1:11-12).
3) Those that sow less will reap less, and those that sow more will reap more.
4) The church is God’s field in this world.
① Tithes. ② Offerings (Mal 3:12).
- It is more precise than sowing and reaping in the material world
(2Co 9:6-13).
?
2. Sowing and reaping of the mental and moral life.
1) Incorrect mind (Gal 6:7-8).
2) The morally ruined life of the prodigal son (Lk 15:12-14).
3) It results in a ruined life.
4) Today, all the misery in the world is because of sowing seeds of greed and self-indulgence and reaping its fruits (Mt 7:16-18).

3. Spiritual sowing and reaping.
1) Do not place other gods before me (Ex 20:5-6).
Do not bow down to idols.
2) Sowing the seeds of becoming an enemy of God (Ro 8:7; Col 3:5-6).
3) Eternal suffering of darkness instead of light (Jn 3:18-19; Rev 22:12).
?
We are always sowing material, mental, moral, and spiritual seeds, and we will reap what we sow?in the present or in the future. Those who dream of living a comfortable life after sowing seeds of immorality and sin are foolish people.
