Am I a Person of Faith?
(Heb. 11:1~3)
Christians are called the people of faith. Despite such fact, there are many people who struggle without knowing what faith is like. Faith is the spiritual vessel. When we come to God with prayer, we must prepare a vessel of faith so that He will fill it.
1. One who incubates what will be as what is
1) People of faith embrace the invisible future as the present. (Phil. 2:13)
2) Jesus said, “According to your faith will it be done to you.” (Ps. 103:5)
2. Material world and spiritual world
1) The material world of the third dimension is the visible and sensible world. But, thinking, dreams, faith, and spoken words are the invisible world. Likewise, the invisible world beyond the third dimension cannot be defined. So it is called the fourth dimension. (Heb. 11:1~3)
2) It is very clear that the things that God promised will come to pass. Therefore, we can believe that things have been materialized even though they will happen in the future. (Mark 11:24)
3. One who dreams about what is not as what is
1) God works through people with dreams and organizations with dreams. God gives life to the dead and calls things that are not as though they were. (Rom. 4:17)
2) Joseph was a dreamer. Even when facing difficulties in life, he firmly held onto dreams that God had given him. God was with Joseph. Finally, God made him as the prime minister of Egypt and had him do God’s work. (Gen. 37:18~20)
4. One who speaks the future as the present and what is not as what is
1) People of faith speak about the future as the present and what is not as what is. (Mark 9:23)
2) Our spoken words change our circumstances and life. (Num. 14:28)
Conclusion
People live by relying on only visible things. In fact, the invisible world of faith creates, changes, and governs the visible, material world. We can change our visible circumstances with invisible faith. When we pray with dreams and faith, the Holy Spirit will work so that our circumstances and even life can change.
