The Holy Spirit, the Counselor
(John 14:16~17)

People can’t live alone. Babies can’t survive without their parents’ help, and knowledge can’t be acquired without teachers’ help. When it comes to our life of faith, we need help. Our life of faith is impossible without the help of the Holy Spirit, the Counselor. The Holy Spirit, the Counselor, was sent by God to help us, and He is God who is always with us.

1. The Holy Spirit who came as another Counselor
1) The first Counselor who came to us is Jesus. Jesus was sent by God, and He came to earth as a human being. He was with sinners, the sick and the poor.
2) Jesus said, “And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Counselor to be with you forever.” (John 14:16) After Jesus died on the cross and was resurrected and ascended to heaven, the Holy Spirit came as our Counselor.

2. The work of the Holy Spirit today
1) The Holy Spirit who came as the Counselor is working to lead people to the cross of Jesus. He helps us to realize our sins. He guides us to the truth and heals our diseases.
2) The work of the Holy Spirit takes place even at this place today. Because the Holy Spirit continues to do the work of Jesus, all kinds of diseases leave and miracles of healing come in places where the Holy Spirit works.

3. Ask the help of the Holy Spirit
1) We have a weak life. However, if we pray, the Holy Spirit who is with us works. Therefore, ask for the help of the Holy Spirit and rely on Him with prayer every day.
2) Praying in tongues has a great benefit. If we pray in tongues, frustration in our hearts disappears, and our problems are solved. In addition, pray by applying the law of visualization. Then, the Holy Spirit works, following our thoughts, dreams, faith and mouth confessions.

Conclusion
God is not far away. He is always in us. He is in us, who are the temple that was bought with the precious blood of Jesus, as the Holy Spirit. Therefore, we shouldn’t look for God from a distance, and we must live by relying on the Holy Spirit who is in us.
