Neither Do I Condemn You, Go Now and Leave Your Life of Sin
(Jn. 8:1~11)

People who were born as the descendants of Adam on this land are all sinners. The Bible says, “As it is written: ‘There is no one righteous, not even one; there is no one who understands, no one who seeks God. All have turned away, they have together become worthless; there is no one who does good, not even one.’” (Rom. 3:10~12).

1. If any one of you is without sin, let him be the first to throw a stone at her
1) The teachers of the law and the Pharisees brought in a woman caught in adultery and asked Jesus, “In the Law Moses commanded us to stone such women. Now what do you say?”
2) Jesus didn’t say anything, and He started to write on the ground with His finger. Then, He said, “If any one of you is without sin, let him be the first to throw a stone at her.”

2. For I came to save the world
1) Jesus said to the woman, “Then neither do I condemn you. Go now and leave your life of sin.” (Jn. 8:11) Jesus came to save us.
2) Salvation is received not by man’s deeds, but by believing in Jesus. If people repent of their sins and come to Jesus, they will receive forgiveness of sin with the precious blood of the cross and become God’s children.

3. Life by the grace of God
1) There were two criminals who were nailed on the cross with Jesus. One of the criminals hurled insults at Jesus, “Aren’t you the Christ? Save yourself and us.” But the other criminal said, “Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom.”
2) Today, there are two types of people. There are those who do not believe in Jesus even when they are dying. Then, there are those who repent of their sins, believe in Jesus and go to heaven.

Conclusion
We live by the grace of God. The Bible says, “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith?and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God.” (Eph. 2:8) We must accept with faith the forgiveness of sin, holiness, the fullness of the Holy Spirit, healing, health, the blessings and prosperity of Abraham, resurrection, eternal life and heaven given by the cross of Jesus and enjoy them.
