Put Your Hope in God
(Ps. 42:5)
The world today is very chaotic and disorderly. At a time like this, we must guard our hearts well. If we lose balance of our hearts, the devil will gain a foothold and steal and kill and destroy life. Then, what do we need to do to guard our hearts? The Bible says, “Put your hope in God.” If we put our hope in God, we can be more than conquerors when it comes to every fear.
1. Allow God as the master of your mind
1) Due to Adam and Eve’s sin, the life of human beings is filled with thorns and thistles. We can’t overcome the surge of worry, anxiety and fear that come every day with our strength.
2) If we invite God as the master of our hearts, He becomes our refuge and fortress. We can conquer every hardship with the love and help of God.
2. Stand firmly on God’s Word
1) If we look at our circumstances, our hearts will shake. No matter what happens, don’t look at your circumstance and stand firmly on the word of God. Those who rely on the word will never fail.
2) God appears through the word. Jesus comes through the word. The Holy Spirit works through the word. Recite the word numerous times and live within the word.
3. March with prayer
1) God said, “Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.” (Jer. 33:3) Even if the Red Sea blocks us in the front, God will part the Red Sea if we pray to Him.
2) When we face a crisis in life, we don’t need to fall in despair. This is because we can still pray. God is always saying, “It is still not late!”
Conclusion
Do not be discouraged and pray no matter what kind of situations you face. Individuals, homes and countries that pray will never fail. Prayer is a great privilege given to us by God. If we pray by crying out, God’s amazing power and grace will be revealed in our life.
