Blessed Are You
(Dt 33:27-29)


Christians are the happiest people in the world because we become the children of God when we accept Jesus who saves our souls and sets us free from all the curses even though we had to be dead because of sins. Therefore, we should give thanks to the Lord during rest of our life.

1. A person who is saved by God’s special grace
God saved us among many people. Almighty God is with us and helps us once we start to believe in Jesus. There are ceaseless problems and sorrows in our life. However, God comes to rescue us out of depressing pits. When we are troubled because of sins and curses, Jesus saves us through his sacrifice on the cross. God loved us so much enough to send his own son. When we remain in that love, we feel happy and secured. We should give glory and thanks to amazing love of God because God has chosen us, leading us to salvation.

2. A person whom God is with
Facing difficulties and adversities, we tend to use knowledge, material things and power to get through the hard times. However, they can't protect us. Therefore, we should depend more on God rather than depending on the things of the world. God will become our shield and sword to fight against our enemies. We are the winner in God. Whatever challenges come to us, we will overcome them with God. Holding the cross as the sign of Jesus' love, we should be accompanied with God everyday.

3. A person who is lifted up by God
God will life us when we obey God. Jesus obeyed God till he had to be dead on the cross. God lifted Jesus so that everything in the world bowed before Jesus. Once God lifts, no one can lower and vice versa. Joseph was lowered by people around him but he finally became the prime minister of Egypt because God lifted him. Haman tried to kill Mordecai and all the Israelites but he had to be dead on the pillar made by himself. Even you are in despair, don't give up. Be caught by God to live for the glory of God, then God will life you up. God will change your despair into hope of God.
