Sing to God
(Ps 117:1-2)


Psalm chapter 112 has two verses and the shortest chapter of the Bible. However, it contains blessings and the plans of God toward the all nations and people from God. Today, we share the blessing of God based on the chapter 117 of Psalm.

1. The duty of life
To know who we are, why we live and how we live is very important. God only gives answers to those questions. God says that we are created to praise God. Praising God pleases God and it gives us great happiness and satisfaction. Creatures feel most satisfied to follow the purpose of the creator. Not only when we have good events but also when we are troubled, we can praise God because God saves, forgives us and gives life to us. Therefore, we can praise God with thankfulness.

2. God's kindness
Kindness of God toward us is amazing and wonderful. Kindness described in the old testament means unchanging grace and love of God. Love of God is amazing because God sent his own son for the sinners. And that love gives us a new life. We beloved by God should love and praise God. We should put down earthly matters which are vain and live with Jesus. Love your God with all your hearts and life. We should be touched by God and practice the love for your neighbors.

3. Sing for God's faithfulness
God is sincere forever. His word has no false and will not change forever. That's why we depend on God. When we believe the Word of God and follow the word of God, God allows us to be blessed amazingly. Don't depend on the thing in the world which will disappear soon. God will take care of us till the end. Sometimes, we face hard moments when we are likely to not to depend on God. However, trust on God just like Abraham who believed in God, that he gave birth to a son when it seemed to be impossible. The promise of God definitely comes true. Trusting on the Word of God, we will experience marvelous blessing of God in our life.
