Be Careful to Obey the Word
(Jos. 1:7-8)


The year 2023 is given to us as the gift from God. We should gain victory and be successful in the Lord by being directed by the Word of God.

1. Be Careful to obey the Word
God asked Joshua to be strong and very courageous. God also told him to be careful to obey all the law Moses gave him. The Word of God is the origin of the blessing. The Bible contains all of the answers to life's questions. As a result, the Word of God serves as our compass, guidebook, and textbook. Therefore, we should live by God's Word. Jesus instructed His disciples to keep God's Word. In this new year, we should stay in God's Word in order to be blessed.

2. Do not turn from the Word to the right or to the left
We should go straight in the right direction, holding tightly to the Word of God. We should not turn to the right or left from it. Conflicts and tensions caused by separation are one of our social issues. As Christians, we must work together and follow the correct path. The cows that were forwarding to Beth Shemesh did not turn to the right or to the left but went only straight. (1 Sam. 6:12) Similarly, we must fix our eyes entirely on God and march forward in faith. By doing so, God will abundantly bless our lives.

3. Meditate on the Word day and night
We should confess the Word of God with our mouths and meditate on it day and night. The Word of God should become a part of our daily lives. Many Christians are blamed because their actions are different from the Word of God. As a result, we must meditate on and proclaim the Word of God at all hours of the day and night. When the Word of God is present in our lives, it will guide us. Keeping the Word and practicing it will smooth your path in life and bring you God's blessings.
